(RoyalPatriot.com )- When House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said, he would keep Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) off the House Intelligence Committee, Schiff pledged retaliation. McCarthy told reporters earlier this month that he intended to uphold his word, despite Schiff’s warnings, and exclude him and Swalwell from the intelligence committee.
Adam Schiff seems like a very calculating and vindictive guy.
Here is a Tweet Schiff posted recently on Twitter:
“Kevin McCarthy just kicked me and Rep Swalwell off the Intelligence Committee. This is petty, political payback for investigating Donald Trump. If he thinks this will stop me, he will soon find out just how wrong he is. I will always defend our democracy.”
Schiff does not deserve to be on an Intelligence Committee. As the chairman, he championed the flawed Trump-Russia connection idea over and over. He also famously read aloud a fictitious conversation between previous President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and entered it in congress as if it were evidence attempting to impeach Trump.
The joke about Schiff is that “he has evidence against Trump that is so new he hasn’t even made it up yet.”
During a news conference, McCarthy said to the media earlier this month that Adam Schiff brazenly lied to the American people. He said Schiff subjected America to a four-year impeachment process that he knew was false while Ukraine and Afghanistan fell apart under his watch.
Amid his criticisms, McCarthy dressed down Swalwell for having a close sexual connection with a Chinese agent, Fang Fang. He said if people could see what he received from the FBI briefing, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee. In the private sector, McCarthy told the media, “Swalwell wouldn’t get a security clearance.”
McCarthy repeatedly vowed to keep Schiff and Swalwell off the Intel Committee if the GOP won the majority and he had the speakership.
Schiff won’t take this lying down. He’s vowed that he “won’t be stopped.” Whatever that means.
