(RoyalPatriot.com )- President Joe Biden is no doubt excited to be the president on the 20th anniversary of the tragic 9/11 terror attacks, having already announced that he plans to complete the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan by that day.
However, families of victims of the Jihadist terror attacks are telling the president to stay away.
NBC News revealed that some 1,800 Americans who were directly affected by the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York City and Virginia are calling on the president to skip the 20th anniversary events that are expected to take place in New York City and Pennsylvania.
In a statement provided to the news outlet, the family members of 9/11 victims said that they cannot in good faith and with veneration to those who were lost or injured welcome the president to the hallowed grounds “until he fulfills his commitment.”
The statement goes on to say that since the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission in 2004, investigative evidence has been uncovered that implicates officials in the Saudi Arabian government as supporting the terror attacks.
It’s something that Americans of various political beliefs have all recognized for many years, but something that successive American governments have failed to acknowledge. The statement added that successive administrations have seen the FBI and the Department of Justice actively stop this information from being made public, preventing the American people from understanding the full truth about what happened on that day and why it happened.
Former President Donald Trump came the closest out of any president since the attacks to acknowledging that the Saudis played a role in the attacks, and it’s unlikely that President Joe Biden will be the man to finally release the evidence…meaning there will be a lot of unhappy families and victims at the 20th anniversary commemorations in New York who simply will not want him to be there.
Nonetheless, Politico reports that President Biden is planning to attend the neW York memorial, with possible stops at Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon along the way.
